Philipp Modersohn

Philipp Modersohn in his practice deals with various kinds of sand based and recycling materials to produce sculptures and installations of strange beauty and elegance. They are continuously changing between indoor and outdoor objects refering to landart, architecture and design. With an contemporary impetus on motifs from the baroque era Modersohn is questioning the future of making art in the late anthropocene.
