Galerie Guido W. Baudach is delighted to present the exhibition SECOND ECHO by Andy Hope 1930.
SECOND ECHO, with which Andy Hope adds a new chapter to the ongoing exploration of the contemporary potential of abstract painting, is the artist’s ninth solo show with the gallery. His first, Down the Hollywood Line, took place exactly 25 years ago in September 2001 and was also the first exhibition of the former Maschenmode project space as a commercial gallery.
SECOND ECHO thus marks a double anniversary: 25 years of collaboration between artist and gallery, and 25 years of Galerie Guido W. Baudach.
Die Galerie Guido W. Baudach ist hocherfreut, anlässlich der diesjährigen Berlin Art Week die Ausstellung SECOND ECHO von Andy Hope 1930 zu präsentieren.
SECOND ECHO, mit der Andy Hope der fortlaufenden Erforschung des zeitgenössischen Potentials von abstrakter Malerei ein neues Kapitel hinzufügt, ist die neunte Einzelausstellung des Künstlers mit der Galerie. Seine erste, Down the Hollywood Line, fand vor genau 25 Jahren im September 2001 statt und war gleichzeitig die erste Ausstellung des vormaligen Projektraums Maschenmode als kommerzielle Galerie.
SECOND ECHO markiert somit ein doppeltes Jubiläum: 25 Jahre Zusammenarbeit von Künstler und Galerie sowie 25 Jahre Galerie Guido W. Baudach.
